Aura Power is supporting Canada’s transition to low-carbon generation. We are focused on developing a portfolio of around 380MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) parks across Southern Alberta. Our specialist development team has a deep understanding of the permitting and development process.
We work closely with the relevant Distribution Framework Operators (DFO), the AESO, Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) and the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) to ensure our projects meet and exceed all regulatory and environmental standards. Our Canadian Project Management Office (PMO) is based in Calgary.

We have a late-stage pipeline of around 600MWp of solar PV and 150MW of utility-scale battery storage projects under development in the Republic of Ireland. We have secured full planning consent for over 10 utility-scale projects, with a pipeline of over 20 in development.
For our solar pipeline, we focus on high-insolation projects with favourable grid connectivity. Our operations are primarily in the south and east of the Country, with the Highfield Energy development team, based in Dublin.

Aura Power is focused on developing a portfolio of large scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across Lithuania. We have secured land for 300MW and are developing a number of other projects to add to our pipeline.
We work with world-class German engineering company ibvogt GmBH, which has 1.9 GW of solar power plants worldwide in its portfolio.
Our team of local experts have extensive experience of developing renewable energy projects in Lithuania. They are based in Vilnius and secure land and grid by working with Lithuanian landowners and the system operator, LitGrid. They also manage all municipal and national permitting. Our team based in the UK headquarters helps develop early stage projects by screening land and ensuring we only develop commercially viable projects.
Aura Power is focused on developing a portfolio of around 1GWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) parks across Portugal. Our specialist development team successfully secured 168MW of grid capacity at auctions in July 2019. We will aim to turn this secured capacity into utility scale solar farms over the next three years.
Our team has a deep understanding of the permitting and development process in Portugal, and we work closely with the various stakeholders to ensure our projects meet and exceed all regulatory and environmental standards. These interactions enable us to select and mature the most commercially viable projects. Our Portugal Project Management Office (PMO) is based in Braga.

We have a strong and active presence in our home marketplace and as a leading player in the UK market, we have delivered over 600MW of renewable energy and battery energy storage projects in the UK.
Key highlights include our development of one of the UK’s largest operational community solar schemes (Carlam Hill), and one of the first Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR) battery storage projects (Nevendon 10MW). Our 15MW Lockleaze battery storage project was the largest in the UK when it was energised in June 2017.

Our specialist development team has a deep understanding of the permitting and development process and works with with several of the US grid operators and environmental agencies like PJM, NYISO, New Mexico RETA, ERCOT, the DEQ and SCC to ensure our projects meet or exceed all regulatory and environmental standards.
Our philosophy is to work closely with system operators, landowners, planning specialists and other stakeholders to identify and progress the most viable projects. We are very thorough when it comes to searching for the right land and offer strong rentals for prime sites. We are also open to purchasing land for projects.
Our management team operates out of our headquarters in Bristol, UK, and takes regular trips to the US to meet landowners, grid operators and planners alongside our on-the-ground teams.
We have a rapidly growing pipeline of projects that are being developed in the PJM and NYISO service areas and we are also looking to expand into new regions.
