Casal Da Cortica

Aura Power has delivered its first solar farm in Casal de Cortica, Leiria, with a capacity of 18MW, now owned and operated by Encavis. This solar farm will generate enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of around 20,000 homes, saving around 3,800 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere each year.

Solar Farms not only increase the supply of clean power, but as solar is the lowest cost form of new energy generation, it will also help to reduce national power prices.

May 2024 - The solar farm started exporting clean renewable energy to the grid. Since May 2024, Aura Power has had no responsibility, operational control or management of this plant. The solar park is the sole responsibility of Encavis (www.encavis.com/en)
